{circa March 2006}
My favorite and best roommate is coming to visit.
She is coming for my birthday (well close to it)
That was her present this year to me, her.
It is the best present ever.
Seriously, she is the coolest ever.
Katie, I will see you in 24 hours.
I am so so so so so happy.
In other news, I have three tests on the same day,
which also happens to be my birthday.
(okay one is the day after, but still)
Also, I am going to NYC for the first time in a month.
It is a quick tiny little Nationals trip w/ my team,
but I am really excited for this as well.
All talking points in this post were supposed to be about excitement..
I realize that test taking is not exciting. Fail.
New drill team try-outs are quickly approaching,
best part- I have assistant coaches next year.
Who are yet to be named...
I have hired them, of course.
I just can't tell y'all who they are yet.
I also hired my choreographers for next year.
I am way too organized. It's a disease.
Last note, I have been debating getting a Nook.
I like books a lot, I read constantly.
It would be real convenient to have a e-reader.
But then I wouldn't get the smell or the putting it on my shelf.
Thoughts?
xoxox,
Kelli
I'm still against the e-readers for the very reason you stated. I love turning the pages & closing the book when I'm finished. There is a sense of accomplishment when you put the book back on the shelf. Have a blast in NYC, I LOVE it there!
ReplyDeleteNooks kick ass. Mine has been awesome and so convenient. Not to mention I can buy a book ANYWHERE at ANYTIME of day. I do miss the smell of a book though. Jer bought a book the other day and I immediately opened it and smelled it and he looked at me as if I were crazy (I am). You still feel a sense of accomplishment when you finish a book cuz, hello, you still finished a book!
ReplyDeleteNYC is amazing. Have fun!
