let's be honest,
I suck at running.
I ran today with my dog
and it was hard.
It was not as easy as it was when I was 17.
When did my hips and knees
start hurting when I run.
I don't remember telling my body
it was okay to get older...
the numbers go up every year,
but for some reason it didn't set in.
Until today when I ran (okay jogged and walked)
two miles. two, that's it.
ugghhh.
Here is to another day attempting to run.
I will see you again tomorrow black pavement.
On the bright side, I danced just a little bit today...
it was like putting a piece back into my heart.
It was like getting sanity back.
Running freaking BLOWS. I am so bad at it...which is mostly why I hate it. :)

ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh!! Sweet Heart you have a little ways before you get old. Haha, it sucks to age though. I turned thirty this year and believe me My Body is telling me. Anyway, I like this post, I found your blog through Jenn's and starting laughing when I read this, I run in the mornings and I too don't remember everything hurting when I was younger.
