My girls did great this weekend!!

I am so so proud of them!! 

The 5A teams we competed against were

Brighton

Cottonwood

Jordan

Riverton

Fremont

Layton

I am going to do show you the placements without penalties, 

then I will explain the penalties and tell you what we got trophies for :) 

1st Hip Hop

1st Officers

4th Jazz

4th Military

In Hip Hop we received a 6 point penalty for stepping out of bounds...

which is deserved, because my team knows better- but really dumb.
So we took home a fifth place trophy.

Most coaches go through and look at penalties to see "real" placement.

In Military we received a 6 point safety violation.

For how we dismount our partner headstands,
you cannot tumble over another persons body. (new rule)

It is hard to describe if you haven't seen the dance. 

But it is an extremely easy fix, so we placed last due to that penalty. 

So, without penalties we beat the two teams competing in our region. 

The girls performed great, but there was definitely mistakes...

and there is still HUGE amounts of work we need to do..

So only up from here! Which is an exciting idea :)

p.s. baby boy camped out in my rib cage for half of the day yesterday...

that was the first time I actually tried to move him and his little foot.
